Your actual customer data in “mein.kabelplus” is not affected by this!

Although the data processing is contractually agreed to take place in European data centers, from a purely legal standpoint, data is transferred to a third country—the United States. The European Court of Justice has determined that there is no adequate level of protection for data transfers to the United States. Consequently, there is a particular risk that your data may be subject to access by U.S. authorities for monitoring and surveillance purposes, and that no effective legal remedies are available.
